How AtaList works
Do I need an account to submit a request?
No. You can submit a request with just an email address; verifying that email is enough. Posting a request is always free.
Does AtaList charge commissions or transaction fees?
AtaList takes no commission on work agreed through a request: payment for that work happens directly between you and the expert. Tickets to paid events carry a service fee, added at checkout and paid by the buyer. Experts pay a subscription to keep their listing active.
Who can see my request and the offers I receive?
Requests are publicly browsable so the right experts can find them. Offers are private and visible only to you, which makes comparing them less pressured.
How do reviews work?
When a requester accepts an expert's offer and the expert confirms the job, AtaList invites the requester to review that expert, and the review is published straight away. A review is also published straight away when it comes through another single-use invitation that AtaList issues to a requester who accepted or replied to an expert's offer. Any other review is checked by the AtaList team before it appears, and the team may ask the expert to approve it. A review that is not approved is not published. AtaList does not check whether the work was done or paid for, as payment happens directly between customer and expert. Reviews are listed newest first, except when you follow a link to a specific review, which appears first. An expert's rating is the average of each reviewer's most recent published review. On the expert list, a card quotes the newest 5-star review with text among the expert's ten most recent reviews, and only when their average rating is 4.0 or higher. Experts cannot pay AtaList to change their reviews or their rating.
Can I stay in touch with experts I like?
Yes. You can follow experts to keep up with their new posts and optionally receive notifications, and book a call with experts who enable call booking.
How do I contact an expert directly?
Expert profiles can include optional public contact links such as a website, social media, phone, or WhatsApp. These are shown only when the expert chooses to share them.
What if I see inappropriate content?
You can report posts, requests, and profiles for review by the AtaList team, and block users so their content is hidden from your view. Blocking is private.
