You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your AtaList account. Once connected, it can do what you can do on AtaList, on your instructions: find experts, post a request, read the offers you receive, reply to messages and more.
Connect an assistant
- The connector address is
https://api.atalist.com/mcp - Claude: open your AtaList profile and choose Add to Claude, or in Claude go to Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste the address.
- ChatGPT: on a paid plan, turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT's settings, then add an app with the address.
- Other assistants that support MCP connectors: add the address as a remote connector.
- Your assistant then opens AtaList, where you sign in and allow it.
What an assistant can never do
- Change your sign-in details, such as your password, email address or phone number
- Delete your account or your expert profile
- See or change payout details
- Refund a payment, or cancel, ship or complete an order
- Change a subscription or an expert profile's main details, such as its membership, specialties or location
- Connect or disconnect assistants
AtaList also limits how much an assistant can do in a short time, so a mistake cannot repeat itself endlessly.
Stay in control
- Your profile lists every connected assistant, and Disconnect cuts one off at once.
- We keep a record of each assistant you connect and of each change it makes for you, as our privacy policy explains.
- What an assistant reads is processed by its provider under that provider's own terms.
