Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: August 4, 2026

These standards set out how AtaList prohibits and acts on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) across our website and our mobile apps. They form part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation

AtaList has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The following are prohibited everywhere on the platform, in public content and in private conversations alike:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, drawings, and computer-generated or AI-generated depictions
  • Sexualising, sexually exploiting, or sexually extorting a minor, or making sexual comments about a minor
  • Grooming, meaning building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them, whether on or off the platform
  • Soliciting, offering, advertising, trading, or facilitating access to CSAM, or to a minor for sexual purposes
  • Trafficking a minor, or promoting, normalising, or glorifying the sexual abuse of minors
  • Impersonating a minor, or misrepresenting your age in order to make contact with minors

These rules apply to every user and to all content, and they are in addition to the content rules in section 1.14 of our Terms of Service.

2. Minimum age

AtaList is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and at least 18 years old to create an Expert profile, create an event, sell tickets, or otherwise transact on the platform. We do not knowingly permit accounts held by anyone below these ages. If we become aware of one, we may suspend or close it and will delete the associated personal data.

3. How to report a child safety concern

Posts, comments, reviews, requests, Expert profiles, and the people you exchange messages with can all be reported from inside the app and the website. Open the item, choose Report, and select Child safety as the reason. Child safety reports go straight to our moderation team, who work them ahead of other reports.

If something is not reportable on its own, report the person who posted it, or email us. You can reach us at support@atalist.com with or without an AtaList account.

If a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first.

4. What we do when we become aware

When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse or exploitation, we act on it. We:

  • Remove the content from the platform, and delete the underlying files from our storage
  • Suspend or permanently close the accounts responsible
  • Report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the competent authority for the jurisdiction concerned, and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement, as applicable law requires
  • Keep a record of the moderation decision, so that we can answer lawful requests about it afterwards

We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us in the markets where we operate, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

5. Child safety point of contact

Our designated point of contact for child safety matters, including enquiries from regulators, law enforcement, and child protection organisations, is:

Please write "Child safety" in the subject line so that your message is routed correctly.
