The house will continue to use gas for the central heating boiler (CV-ketel). The gas meter and the gas supply to the boiler must remain unchanged. Only the gas supply to the kitchen needs to be permanently disconnected because the gas cooktop will be replaced with an induction cooktop. Required work: • Safely disconnect the existing gas cooktop. • Permanently cap off the gas pipe supplying the kitchen, preferably at the point where the kitchen branch splits from the main gas line. • Preferably, the unused pipe running to the kitchen should no longer remain pressurised. • Do not modify or disconnect the gas supply to the central heating boiler (CV-ketel). • Perform a gas tightness/leak test after completing the work. The gas connection to the house and the central heating boiler will remain in use. Only the gas branch supplying the kitchen cooktop should be permanently taken out of service.
