About Me

Hello, I am Lokman Yildiz, a Master of Science veterinarian. Improving the quality of life of animals and helping them live healthier lives is not only my profession, but also a passion and responsibility.

I was born in the Netherlands. My connection with animals and veterinary medicine started at an early age. My decision to become a veterinarian became clear when I was 14 years old after my dog Max broke his leg. We took him to the Animal Hospital of Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Turkey. After careful treatment he started running again about two months later. Witnessing that recovery deeply inspired me and played a major role in my decision to become a veterinarian.

I later graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. During my student years I began working in clinics at the age of 20, assisting veterinarians during long night shifts and gaining important experience in emergency care and clinical practice.

After graduation I pursued a master’s degree in orthopedics. During this period I also gained knowledge and experience in general surgery and radiology.

In 2022 I moved to the Netherlands and worked for two years in large veterinary organizations. Building on that experience, I now provide mobile veterinary services in the Netherlands, mainly offering home visits within Haarlem and a +30 km area. I also support veterinary clinics with orthopedic consulting and surgical assistance.

I believe communication is extremely important in veterinary care. Therefore I can communicate with clients in Turkish, Dutch and English. Being able to support pet owners in a language they feel comfortable with is something I value greatly.

My goal is always the same:

to improve the quality of life of animals and provide them with the best veterinary care possible.
